A live recording of the Tannery Pond Concert from August 22, 2009, featuring Madalyn & Cicely with Christian Steiner at the piano. The program included Beethoven's Spring Sonata, Shostakovich's Cello Sonata, and Arensky's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor. An enthusiastic crowd gave a standing ovation and four curtain calls! Tannery Pond Concerts are held in The Tannery on the magnificent grounds of The Darrow School in New Lebanon NY. The Tannery is a simple barn-like structure built by the Shakers in 1834. It provides wonderfully warm acoustics, which can be heard on this beautiful recording, mastered to perfection. CONCERTS AT TANNERY POND: Beethoven, Shostakovich, Arensky is available beginning July 24, 2010.
